Motion & Illusion
Motion & Illusion
“I got to the point where I was really bored by normal pieces,” said Tripl on the car ride to the exhibition setup. He expressed the feeling that arises when there is no more spiritual satisfaction from style writing. t is precisely this insight that a few practitioners need in order to then approach this art form anew with a different attitude and a changed and thereby improved creativity. In the vast majority of cases, it is these personalities who contribute greatly to the evolution of writing.
Tripl opened up an area for himself that not only, but very often, leads to post-processing of his paintings on the computer. This is particularly true of his optical illusionist works. Sometimes he implements them in a more manual manner with a larger proportion of painting, sometimes the painting is reduced and the audiovisual processing on the computer makes up the larger part. Many of his works seem playful, almost light, but if you consider the background of these works, the effort that went into creating his most important works of art, you are impressed by his sophistication, his ingenuity and the energy behind them.
For his “Motion & Illusion“ exhibition, Tripl has reconsidered his optical illusionist work, because in contrast to the fact that the majority of his paintings are on trains and that their movement is incorporated into his works of art in one way or another, here he is on a static surface: walls When dealing with this problem, he not only relied on the diverse possibilities of new media, but also rediscovered old things that deal with optical illusions. As a result, he has expanded his artistic scope once again and so his mind, and not just his works of art, remains in motion. One United Power
