Błażej Rusin (1988, Bielsk Podlaski) is a Polish painter living and working in Poznań. He studied art at the Poznań Art University from 2011 and graduated in 2013.
Despite his young age for the art field, he has already had countless solo exhibitions and has participated in many group shows. For the Hood-Projects he visualizes the evolution of a certain part of his oeuvre: the Graffscapes.
In several steps, he explains to the viewer what painterly groundwork he did, where the inspiration came from and the long path he took to achieve the artistic result that was right for him.
The Graffscapes, a neologism of graffiti and landscapes, also represent a reminiscence of his style writing ambitions, which he pursued before his academic career.
