On Platform 3 – The Next Generation<\/h3>\n

What they have in common is that they belong to the second generation of German writers and have preferred to paint trains since their first days. In this way, they have firmly inscribed themselves in the national and international history of style writing.<\/p>\n

But it is not just their perseverance, but rather their consistent actions with the associated development of a specific style and a distinctive quality, that leads them to this exhibition.<\/p>\n

As in our first two shows, the participating artists of \u201cOn Platform 3: The Next Generation\u201d paint the model of a \u201cSilberling\u201d, a classic German steel train. Rage<\/h3>\n

Since the mid-1990s, Rage has been active on trains, mainly in his hometown of Hamburg. He started out as a classic style writer, but in recent years he has dealt with letters only to a very limited extent; they usually only constitute fragments.<\/p>\n

In his recent paintings, Rage explores other aspects of writing. In different series of works, he deals with sub-areas in which he uses materials that are untypical for a train writer, may it be paper, wood, or canvas. What all of his artworks have in common is that he continues to be in a constant artistic exchange with the medium train.
